Glossary
What the words on Peep mean, where Peep gets each one, and what to keep in mind. Nothing here is advice: signals and counts are information, and they can be wrong, late or manipulated.
Peep Radar
Peep Radar
Peep's alert service. It watches Solana trading and raises an alert when wallets it follows buy the same token in a short time. Alerts stay listed for 24 hours.
- Source
- Peep Radar, Peep's own service, from on-chain trades and wallet lists it keeps, some built from third-party labels. Market figures next to an alert come from Peep's market data.
- Keep in mind
- Alerts are automatic. They can be wrong or late, and wallets can act together to trigger one on purpose. An alert is not a recommendation.
Smart money
A Peep Radar alert: several wallets from curated lists of traders with a strong past record bought the same token within a few minutes.
- Source
- Peep Radar, from wallet lists that include third-party smart-money and well-known-trader labels and Radar's own picks.
- Keep in mind
- The labels are based on past profit, which says nothing certain about the next trade, and labelled wallets can coordinate.
Top traders
A Peep Radar alert: several wallets Radar watches show up among a trending token's top traders within a short window.
- Source
- Peep Radar, from the token's top-trader lists and Radar's watched wallets. Wallets marked as insiders are left out.
- Keep in mind
- Top-trader lists change fast and can include wallets tied to the token's creators.
Activity convergence
A Peep Radar alert: several ranked traders from an external social trading app bought the same token within a short window.
- Source
- Peep Radar, from public trader rankings on an external app and those traders' buys.
- Keep in mind
- Rankings reflect past results on another app, and a group of traders can buy together on purpose.
Activity confirmed
A Peep Radar alert kind about buys by traders tracked through an external social trading app, named by Peep Radar.
- Source
- Peep Radar.
- Keep in mind
- Like every alert, it is automatic and can be late or wrong.
Re-alert
Peep Radar alerted the same token more than once in the last 24 hours. "Re-alert ×3" means three alerts; "Re-alert" without a count means the token's only alert in that window repeats an earlier one.
- Source
- Peep Radar.
- Keep in mind
- More alerts mean more of the watched wallets bought, not that the token is better.
Since alert (×)
The latest available price or market cap divided by its value at the first alert in the last 24 hours: 2× means double, 0.5× means half.
- Source
- Peep's market data, comparing like with like (price with price, cap with cap). Hidden while the market data is delayed.
- Keep in mind
- This is a current comparison, not the highest value reached or your realized return. It does not include fees, slippage or liquidity constraints.
Buyers
How many watched wallets Peep Radar counted buying the token at its latest alert.
- Source
- Peep Radar.
- Keep in mind
- Several wallets can belong to one person.
Discover feeds
Bonded (%)
How far a token has filled its bonding curve, the launchpad's starting market. At 100% it graduates.
- Source
- The launchpad's own figure, through Peep's market data.
- Keep in mind
- Progress can stall or reverse; a high percentage is not a promise that the token graduates.
Graduating
Tokens close to filling their bonding curve.
- Source
- Peep's market data.
- Keep in mind
- Tokens near graduation often move sharply in both directions.
Graduated
Tokens that filled their bonding curve and moved to a regular trading pool.
- Source
- Peep's market data.
- Keep in mind
- Graduating doesn't make a token safe; liquidity can still be pulled.
Callout
A Discover feed of tokens mentioned in public callouts in the last 24 hours. These rows show how many callouts Peep saw and when; they do not show post text or authors.
- Source
- Public callout feeds, covering tokens seen there and tokens already tracked by Peep.
- Keep in mind
- A count is a lower bound (a + means it can be higher). Callouts are public posts and can be coordinated. More on How Peep numbers work.
Thesis
A Discover feed of tokens people on an external social trading app posted theses about or bought in the last 24 hours, with counts of theses, on-chain buyers and shared buys.
- Source
- Public activity on an external social trading app and on-chain buys. Peep isn't affiliated with that app.
- Keep in mind
- The counts overlap and are never added together. A thesis is someone else's opinion; its text is not part of these Discover rows.
Group call
A token a member posted in a Peep group. Peep records its entry price and tracks the highest price since the call.
- Source
- Peep groups, with prices from Peep's market data.
- Keep in mind
- Not the same as the Callout feed, which counts public callouts. The multiple is a peak measured afterwards, a best case.
Avg peak ×
A group's average peak multiple across calls made in the last 30 days: each call's highest price since the call, divided by its entry price.
- Source
- Peep groups.
- Keep in mind
- Multiples are peaks measured afterwards, a best case that members may not have caught.
Token facts
Rug risk
A flag on tokens whose market data matches signs of a rug, such as no liquidity in the pool, liquidity pulled, a crash of most of the value from its high, or market data that looks broken.
- Source
- Peep's rules over the token's market data. It is the only risk flag Peep shows.
- Keep in mind
- It is a rule, not an investigation. No flag does not mean safe, and a flagged token can still trade.
Market cap (MC)
The token's price times its supply.
- Source
- Market data from external sources.
- Keep in mind
- On thin markets a small trade moves it a lot; it is not money anyone could take out.
FDV
Fully diluted value: the price times every token that can ever exist.
- Source
- Peep's market data.
- Keep in mind
- Same caution as market cap.
Liquidity
How much value sits in the token's trading pool, which decides how much a trade moves the price.
- Source
- Peep's market data.
- Keep in mind
- Liquidity can be removed at any time by whoever controls it.
Thin
Shown when a token has a high market cap for few holders or little trading.
- Source
- Peep's market data.
- Keep in mind
- A high market cap on a thin market is easy to move and hard to sell into.
Top 10
The share of the supply the ten largest holders own.
- Source
- Reported token audit data.
- Keep in mind
- Pools and exchange wallets can count among the top holders, and one person can hold through many wallets.
Dev
The share of the supply the token creator's wallet holds, and how many tokens that wallet has created.
- Source
- Reported token audit and market data. Peep never shows the creator's address.
- Keep in mind
- A creator can move tokens to other wallets first, so a low share is not proof of anything.
Mint and freeze authority
Whether anyone can still create more of the token (mint) or freeze holders' tokens (freeze). Off is the safer setting.
- Source
- The token's reported on-chain settings.
- Keep in mind
- Both off removes two risks, not every risk.
Organic
A score of how much of a token's trading looks like real people rather than bots.
- Source
- An external assessment of trading activity.
- Keep in mind
- It is an estimate by a third party.
Verified
Whether the token is listed as verified in the available token data.
- Source
- External token verification records.
- Keep in mind
- Verification comes from an external source and is not a safety rating.
Trading
Swap
A trade between SOL and a token, built by Peep, approved by you and settled on Solana.
- Source
- External liquidity routes; your embedded wallet signs.
- Keep in mind
- Confirmed swaps are final and public.
Peep fee
Peep's fee on a swap made through Peep: 0.75% of each swap between SOL and a token, part of the transaction you approve.
- Source
- Peep, collected inside the swap by the swap route's referral program (the route keeps a fifth of it). The Terms say the same.
- Keep in mind
- It comes on top of Solana's network fee, and the price can still move within your slippage limit.
Slippage
How far the price may move between your confirmation and the moment the swap lands before it is refused.
- Source
- Your trade settings.
- Keep in mind
- A tight limit fails more often on fast tokens; a loose one can fill at a worse price.
Network fee
What Solana charges to process a transaction.
- Source
- The Solana network.
- Keep in mind
- It is charged even when a transaction fails.
Embedded wallet
The Solana wallet created for you when you sign in. You control it; Peep can't move your funds.
- Source
- The embedded-wallet service.
- Keep in mind
- Keep your sign-in and wallet recovery access safe; losing both can mean losing the wallet.
Your account
XP
A count of your activity on Peep, from the volume you trade and friends who join with your invite. It sets your level and rank.
- Source
- Peep, settled once a week. The rules are on How Peep numbers work.
- Keep in mind
- Other people see your level as of the last weekly settlement, not your XP.
Peep Score
A score from 0 to 1,000 that sums trading, quality volume, Peeps, groups, invites and consistency, minus moderation actions.
- Source
- Peep, recalculated daily. The rules are on How Peep numbers work.
- Keep in mind
- A high score describes past activity on Peep; it says nothing certain about future trades.
Earn
The page with your invite link: how many people joined with it and an estimate of Peep's fees from their swaps, updated every Monday.
- Source
- Peep, from the swaps of people who joined with your link. The rules are on How Peep numbers work.
- Keep in mind
- An estimate is not a payment: nothing is paid out unless Peep announces payouts together with their rules.
Invites
Friends who join with your invite link add XP to your account by the invite rules.
- Source
- Peep. The rules are on How Peep numbers work.
- Keep in mind
- Only the first invite link a browser opened counts, and an account's invite never changes afterwards.
Peeps and groups
Peep
A post on Peep: a trade you shared or a note you wrote. A shared trade shows your handle, the token, buy or sell, a rounded amount and the time.
Followers
The default audience of a Peep: people who follow you see it in their feed.
Everyone on Peep
An audience you can choose: anyone signed in to Peep can see the Peep.
Don't Peep
Keeps a trade off Peep's feeds.
Peeped
A trade or note you shared as a Peep. Your own trades show whether each one was Peeped and who sees it.
Paid group
A group you join with a SOL payment. Peep takes 5% of each payment and the rest goes to the group's creator. Approval groups let the creator accept requests instead.
